Whether it's a slow drip that finally gave out or a sudden flood at midnight, Mercer residents call one number and get a real answer. Hirex Water Damage keeps Flood Damage Cleanup crews and equipment staged inside Mercer so a technician can be at your door quickly.
Plenty of Mercer families have dialed a big national number and waited through hold music before a random contractor showed up hours later, and Hirex Water Damage exists specifically to fix that pattern. Every technician you'll meet is a direct Hirex Water Damage employee, not a subcontractor pulled from an app.
Our lead technicians hold IICRC water restoration certification and have worked jobs ranging from a single soaked bedroom to a fully flooded commercial floor, which is why Flood Damage Cleanup in Mercer is treated as a specialty, not a side offering. We carry full liability coverage and hold active licensing to operate throughout Mercer, PA.
Equipment lives in a Mercer-area warehouse rather than being trucked in from three counties over, which shortens arrival time considerably.
Ask any Mercer property manager who's dealt with an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you the real cost isn't the leak itself — it's how long standing water sits before someone with the right equipment shows up. That gap between a fast, equipped response and a slow, improvised one is exactly what Hirex Water Damage was built to close.
Our Mercer technicians go through regular continuing education, because a method that was standard five years ago may not be the best option today.
The Mercer jobs that end up gutting a room almost always started quiet, not with a flood. Here's what tells our team a Mercer property needs a professional look rather than a mop and a fan:
If any of that sounds familiar, don't wait for it to get worse — call our Mercer line and we'll give you a straight answer on urgency.
Whether it's a small residential leak or a large commercial loss, our Mercer teams size the crew and equipment to fit. Each item on this list corresponds to an actual step in our process, not a generic label.
Truck-mount extraction on every Mercer rig means high-volume pickup starts the same day, not the next. Moisture mapping follows every extraction so we know which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
We calculate drying needs using humidity and temperature data rather than guessing at equipment placement, with daily logs so you can watch the numbers improve.
For Mercer families, our scope covers flood-cut work, subfloor evaluation, and packing out belongings that can be cleaned and restored, with photo documentation at every stage for your insurance file.
For commercial Mercer accounts, we assign a lead, run crews outside normal hours to limit downtime, and size equipment to the actual footprint — a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants has to move fast.
Blackwater losses in Mercer get handled under strict Category 3 protocol from containment through documented disposal.
Every Mercer drying job includes preventive antimicrobial application aimed at heading off mold before it starts.
We quote every Mercer job before equipment gets plugged in, so there's no surprise charge buried in the final invoice.
Local staging inside Mercer typically puts a tech at your door quickly, not after a long drive across the region.
We photograph and log every step so your Mercer claim moves faster and you're not arguing with an insurer alone.
Final moisture readings have to hit dry-standard before we consider any Mercer job done, and getting there again is on us.
A short call tells us whether your Mercer job needs one technician or a full crew before anyone drives out.
Our nearest available Mercer crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount gear on board.
Extraction happens right away, with drying equipment placed only after moisture mapping is complete.
Daily moisture checks continue on every Mercer job until each material reads dry, and you get a full report at the end.
We measure moisture with instruments, not guesswork, and won't sign off on a Mercer job until readings match the dry standard for the materials involved. If a callback within 30 days shows lingering moisture from the same loss, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
That commitment is written into every Mercer work order we issue, not just mentioned in a sales pitch. If a follow-up visit is ever needed, we send a technician familiar with the original job whenever scheduling allows, so you're not re-explaining the situation to someone new.
A guarantee only means something if it's backed by documented numbers, which is why every Mercer job closes with instrument readings attached.
